Iron ore wastes and tailings form iron ore mining and processing are the main solid wastes impacting the sustainable development of iron ore industry. Large quantity of iron ore wastes and tailings impact mine ecology, atmosphere, underground water and soil, which need to be used and to construct green mines. This paper gives a general introduction to comprehensive use of iron ore wastes and tailings on sandstone, concrete, 3D printing, road, building materials, recycling and stone-plastic compound material, tailing fertilizer and mine ecological rehabilitation, new material research, development and engineering application. Based on review of laws of foreign green mine construction, this paper discusses the necessity of use of iron ore wastes and tailings and green mine construction and presents constructive suggestions for green mine construction.

COUPLED COORDINATION DEGREE BETWEEN URBANIZATION AND GEOLOGICAL HAZARDS IN CHINA
HAN Xiao, ZHANG Nan
Resources & Industries    2017, 19 (4): 52-56.   DOI: 10.13776/j.cnki.resourcesindustries.20170728.005

This paper uses TOPSIS and coupled coordination degree formula to study

the coupled coordination degree between urbanization and geological hazards in 31

provinces of China, and the developing trend of the coupled coordination degree,

with the results showing an improving coordinated development, reaching a

coordinated status from outofcoordinating in most provinces. Coupled

coordination degree level distribution map shows some spatial features that the

coupled coordination degree in the western China is universally higher than in

the central and eastern, and is rising from the western to the centraleastern.

Reasons arise from a conversion in geological hazards prevention and control

concept, establishment of long-term input mechanism and key regional planning.

A CASE STUDY OF COAL INDUSTRIAL COMPETITIVENESS BASED ON PCA
SUN Hui, LIU Yuan-yuan, ZHANG Na-Na
Resources & Industries    2012, 14 (1): 144-149.
Abstract2105)      PDF(pc) (1355KB)(1639)       Save

Coal is a major energy resource in China. Coal industry is a leading industry in those provinces abundant in coal, but is imbalanced in development. This paper, from Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and Shaanxi, applies PCA to establish an index system composing of 4 factors and 11 indexes at actual competitiveness level and at potential competitiveness level, uses SPSS 16.0 software to process relevant data and works out their competitiveness index and rank that in actual competitiveness level, Shanxi ranks top, then Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and Shaanxi. Xinjiang ranks first at potential competitiveness level. This paper presents suggestions in clustering development and collaborative construction in coal industry.

A CASE STUDY OF LIAOYANG CITY: PREDICTION MEANS OF PRESERVED  PLOWLAND QUANTITY DURING LAND PLANING
HUI Yin ZHAI Li-ru ZHANG Na
Resources & Industries    2008, 10 (3): 100-102.
Abstract2550)      PDF(pc) (1196KB)(1081)       Save

The plowland protection and its sustainable development are underlined in the newround land utilization planning in China. The paramount step for land utilization planning is to determine the plowland index, which requires a prediction of preserved plowland quantity. This paper combines the land utilization general planning, studies the preserved plowland quantity in Liaoyang city by means of regression method, longterm tendency method and fuzzy system method, which provides a reference to establish the land utilization general planning in Liaoyang city.
